Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer – CICS to join our team in the United States. You will provide premium support for CICS TS and related OEM software, handle CSOs, and deliver 24x7x365 coverage across time zones.

This role includes installation/tuning of CICS TS, migration support for new customers, and disaster recovery tasks in coordination with DR services. The ideal candidate has 5+ years on zSeries mainframe, strong CICS TS knowledge, SMP/E, and excellent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years experience on the zSeries mainframe, including hands-on work with CICS TS and OEM product support.
• Strong knowledge of CICS TS and related OEM products, including installation and tailoring.
• Thorough working knowledge of IBM SMP/E.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of CICS TS concepts and configuration.
• Experience with monitoring tools for CICS TS regions.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill CSOs for mainframe z/OS customers related to CICS TS and OEM products.
• Provide primary support for reported CICS TS problems.
• Provide 24x7x365 support across multiple time zones.
• Follow procedures for installing OEM software products per Ensono standards.
• Assist in preparing customer partitions for annual OS upgrade cycles.
• Support customer migrations and transitions for CICS TS products.
• Coordinate with Disaster Recovery Services on DR plans.
• Adhere to ITSM change control procedures and vendor fixes.
