Job summary

Stradit in Dallas, TX seeks a Senior Mainframe Capacity Planning Engineer to monitor and analyze mainframe capacity. You will collect, process, and validate system resource data and business volumes for reporting, using SAS in both mainframe and distributed environments.

Qualifications include 5–10 years of relevant experience, a math/statistics degree, and knowledge of SMF, RMF, CICS, DB2, MQ. MICS/MXG experience is essential, with JCL/ISPF skills and strong Excel/PowerPoint. This is a W2 role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or statistics preferred or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Run and validate the Data Collection and Reporting process using scheduling software.
• Design basic SAS reports.
• Build and edit JCL in ISPF.
• Creating / Updating policies, job aids and other documentation.
• Data analysis - descriptive statistics and reporting of business volumes.
