Job summary

StradIT is seeking a Senior Mainframe Capacity Planning Engineer to join our team in the United States. You will monitor, analyze, and report mainframe capacity, collecting and validating system and business data for analysis using SAS on mainframe and distributed environments.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience, a strong foundation in descriptive statistics, and expertise with MICS/MXG. You will work across locations including Jersey City, Tampa, Dallas and Boston.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in mathematics / statistics or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Run and validate capacity planning processes for mainframe systems.
• Design basic reports using SAS.
• Build and edit JCL in ISPF.
• Create/update policies and documentation.
• Perform data analysis and descriptive statistics to extrapolate insights.
• Prepare business volume reports and risk assessments.
