Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer – Automation to join the Mainframe Automation team. You will accelerate automation development across Z/OS platforms, integrate with Envision X, AIR, and Sidekick, and contribute to architecture for Automation Point, OPS/MVS, and zOSMF.

You will design scalable automation solutions, use agile methods, and drive performance improvements while reducing manual intervention and improving client experiences across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• BS degree in computer science or related field; 10 years’ development exp preferred
• Passionate about delivering world-class client experiences via technology
• Strong problem-solving and performance-improvement mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Minimum Netview SA required

Responsibilities

• Design automation across platforms using system knowledge and PM skills
• Bridge tool capabilities with business requirements for a superior client experience
• Automate corrective steps to reduce human intervention and enable problem management
• Deliver solutions using agile development methodology
• Assess performance and proactively detect issues before incidents
