Job summary

Selective Insurance is seeking a detail-oriented Mailroom Clerk in Branchville, NJ. The role involves handling incoming and outgoing mail, greeting vendors, and supporting daily mail operations across multiple buildings.

The ideal candidate has a HS Diploma (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of mailroom experience, with solid computer skills and the ability to adapt during high-volume periods. This is a full-time position offering a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Opens, sorts, and prepares incoming mail for distribution across the company.
• Performs mail cart deliveries to all buildings as scheduled.
• Sorts, packs, and prepares outbound mail for agents.
• Prints and sorts checks for Billing, Claims, and Accounts Payable teams.
• Operates postage and inserting machines, and the UPS Campus Ship workstation.
• Processes USPS and UPS reports for daily and monthly usage.
• Serves as in-house and external courier to Branchville Post Office.
• Packs and prepares special mailings for postage and delivery.
• Uses PC workstation and CICS AGT5 to access agent file information for mailroom use.
• Monitors workflows to ensure department operations run smoothly.
