Job summary

ServerMonkey in Houston, TX, seeks a strategic technologist to own our CTO-level e‑commerce stack. You will drive the Magento 2 Commerce platform, improve performance, and secure the architecture while aligning with marketing and data teams.

You will shape the AWS cloud footprint, CI/CD pipelines, and multi-channel growth initiatives, ensuring PCI compliance and scalable, reliable delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven Magento 2 architecture optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience leading large e-commerce platforms (B2C/B2B) with high traffic.
• Deep AWS deployment, security, and cost-management expertise.
• Strong CI/CD, testing, and production deployment discipline.
• Ability to translate complex hardware/software constraints to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the Configurations and Roadmap for Magento 2 on AWS.
• Refactor legacy code to improve load times and mobile UX.
• Ensure PCI compliance and data protection standards.
• Define standards, docs, and deployment processes across teams.
• Lead platform architecture decisions and RFIs with external agencies.
