Job summary

Trace Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced MAF Senior Network Engineer to join our Scott AFB team in Illinois.

You will provide Tier III analysis, design, and integration support for Mobility Air Forces requirements within EACN, evaluating new technologies and engineering integration for new aircraft and communications capabilities. The role requires Top Secret clearance, DoD 8140 credentials or equivalent, and 5+ years in senior network engineering.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required
• US citizenship required
• DoD 8140 qualifications apply to the role
• 5+ years of senior network engineering experience
• CCNP certification within six months of employment
• Advanced experience with network architecture and Cisco routing/switching

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier III network analysis, design, and integration support for MAF requirements at Scott AFB.
• Coordinate with engineering, test, cybersecurity, and operations stakeholders.
• Develop architectures, test plans, configurations, and recommendations for new MAF capabilities.
• Prepare a Network Installation and Configuration Guide before changes in production.
• Validate changes in SIL or test environments prior to deployment.
• Troubleshoot complex integration and performance issues and document baselines and changes.
