Job summary

Apogee seeks a Senior Network Engineer to support the Executive Airlift Communications Network (EACN) at Scott Air Force Base, Belleville, IL. This full-time, on-site role focuses on Tier 3 network support for critical DoD missions.

You will work with EACN gateways, SIL, and GSOC to design, install, test, and maintain network configurations, backup strategies, and secure communications. Requires TS/SCI clearance, DoD experience, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• TS/SCI clearance required.
• DoDD 8140.03 Cyberspace Workforce qualification and mgmt program.
• CompTIA Network+ certification.
• Cisco CCNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide Network Tier 3 support to critical DoD airborne and ground systems.
• Support EACN Air to GIG Gateways (A2G2s) and SIL operations.
• Design, evaluate, and recommend new technologies for EACN requirements.
• Assist with configuration management and technical architecture for EACN.
• Troubleshoot network issues at JBA/JBLM/SAFB A2G2s and platforms accessing A2G2.
• Maintain A2G2 baseline configuration and test new software versions.
