Chime Financial, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to own the macOS platform and drive endpoint management and device trust standards across Chime’s IT ecosystem.

You will partner across IT domains to establish standards, enable secure access, and align with Security on a cloud-centric stack including Jamf, AutoPkg, Okta, osQuery, and CrowdStrike. Reporting to the IT Engineering Manager, this role includes after-hours on-call rotation and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience managing macOS at scale with enterprise MDM (e.g., Jamf Pro, Kandji, Mosyle) and/or open-source tooling (e.g., Munki, Puppet, Chef).
• AutoPkg production experience with recipes, overrides, trust controls, and automated promotion into an enterprise MDM environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the macOS platform and endpoint management including Jamf Pro configuration profiles, smart groups, policies, and MDM commands.
• Lead software delivery and patch management via AutoPkg-based pipelines and ensure disk encryption across the fleet.
• Build automation and reusable tooling to accelerate IT work beyond a single engineer.
• Own zero-touch provisioning and device enrollment for day-one productivity.
• Develop integrations using scripting and APIs to reduce manual IT operations.
• Set and enforce security posture with Zero Trust/BeyondCorp and device trust via Okta.
