Job summary

Chime is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to own the macOS platform, drive endpoint management, and enforce device trust standards across IT. You will partner with Security to implement a cloud-based, policy-driven fleet, focusing on Jamf Pro, AutoPkg, Okta integrations, and CIS benchmarks.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives with IT Support, Security, and People teams; mentor peers; and contribute to a scalable, secure, and highly available macOS fleet across Chime.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience managing macOS at scale with enterprise MDM and/or open-source tooling.
• Production experience building and operating AutoPkg recipes and trust controls.
• Deep understanding of Apple MDM protocol, Declarative Device Management, and macOS security tooling.
• Proficient in scripting for API interaction and automation (Python/Swift/Bash/Go).
• Solid knowledge of Zero Trust concepts and device-posture based access decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the macOS platform and Jamf Pro environment, including profiles, policies, MDM commands, and change standards.
• Own AutoPkg-based software delivery pipeline and deployment across the fleet.
• Build reusable tooling and automations to accelerate IT tasks beyond your role.
• Lead zero-touch provisioning and secure device enrollment workflows.
• Serve as Tier 3 escalation for endpoint issues and collaborate with Security.
