Job summary

Chime is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to own the macOS platform and drive endpoint management across our IT ecosystem. You will lead Jamf Pro operations, automate software delivery via AutoPkg, and collaborate on Security and Governance to enforce a Zero Trust posture.

You will define standards, mentor peers, and work across IT Support, Security, and People teams. This role involves on-call rotation and reports to the IT Engineering Manager.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience managing macOS at scale with enterprise MDM (Jamf Pro, Kandji, Mosyle) or open-source tooling.
• AutoPkg: production experience with recipes, overrides, trust controls, and enterprise deployment.
• In-depth understanding of Apple MDM protocol and Declarative Device Management.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Swift, Bash, Go) for API interaction and automation.
• Solid understanding of Zero Trust / BeyondCorp concepts and endpoint posture.

Responsibilities

• Own the macOS platform and Jamf Pro environment, including configuration profiles, policies, and MDM commands.
• Own AutoPkg-based software pipeline and deployment across the global macOS fleet.
• Build automation and shared tooling to accelerate IT workflows beyond your own scope.
• Own zero-touch provisioning and device enrollment processes for new users.
