Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine LLC in Orangeburg, NY is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing production teams and manage daily execution across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance. You will assign schedules, develop employees, improve processes, and ensure customer commitments are met while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

This role requires an associate degree and 3+ years of manufacturing/leadership experience, with a strong focus on teamwork

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and shop floor processes.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity goals.
• Assign, prioritize, and execute daily and weekly production schedules.
• Coordinate with Production Control, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and other departments to meet customer commitments.
• Ensure materials, supplies, equipment, and staffing are available to support production plans.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, routing instructions, and job orders for employees.
• Train, coach, mentor, and develop employees to build capability and performance.
• Drive Lean, continuous improvement, and productivity initiatives.
