Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A required.
• 5+ years of rigging or heavy machinery moving experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of rigging practices and load calculations.
• Experience with cranes, forklifts, hoists, and hydraulic moving equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and lift plans preferred.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Safely relocate, dismantle, move, and install industrial machinery and equipment.
• Set up and operate rigging equipment to lift, move, and position heavy loads.
• Attach loads to rigging using appropriate tools to ensure stability during movement.
• Inspect rigging equipment prior to use for safety and compliance.
• Align, level, and anchor machinery to final specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and lift plans; assist in developing lift plans as needed.
• Transport heavy and overweight equipment using company vehicles in DOT compliance.
• Perform load securement, tie-down, and inspection procedures prior to and during transport.
• Maintain working knowledge of tools and rigging applications; support ongoing learning.
