Job summary

ROCKWOOL International A/S in Byhalia, MS is seeking a Senior Machine Operator-Format/Milling for a 6:00AM-6:00PM shift with rotating days off on a 2-2-3 basis. The role involves operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining automatic manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced line environment.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of machine operator experience, and strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years machine operator experience.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and product specs.
• Knowledge of continuous flow automated manufacturing.
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers and measuring tapes.

Responsibilities

• Operates, troubleshoots, and maintains all machines including sanding, shaping, and cutting.
• Visual inspection of raw materials and finished products exiting the area.
• Uses measurement tools to verify production is in specification.
• Cooperation and supervision of the fleece applying device with all machines and related installations.
