Job summary

ROCKWOOL Warehouse is seeking a Night Shift Forklift Operator in Byhalia, MS. You will load and unload ROCKWOOL products, operate a forklift/clamp truck/pallet jack, and ensure accurate labeling while protecting product quality.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of forklift experience, with preference for those familiar with continuous flow manufacturing and automated equipment. SAP experience is a plus, along with strong organizational and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of forklift experience (forklift, clamp truck or pallet jack).
• Preference for experience in continuous flow manufacturing or industrial environments with automated equipment.
• SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload ROCKWOOL products and materials from pallets, skids, platforms, trucks or other transport sources with care to avoid damage and ensure proper labelling.
• Maintain inventory through physical counts and investigate discrepancies, adjusting errors as needed.
• Maintain equipment and perform basic troubleshooting as first line of defense for process, mechanical and technical issues.
• Collaborate with team in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Help ensure production план and KPIs are met through accurate order fulfilment.

Job description

We are seeking a Forklift Operator, to join our ROCKWOOL Warehouse Team in Byhalia, MS. This is a night shift position, working 7:00AM-7:00PM, Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

What you bring:

• At least 2 years' experience operating a forklift, clamp truck, or pallet jack required.
• Preference given to candidates with experience in a continuous flow manufacturing or industrial environment working with automated equipment.
• Previous SAP experience preferred.
• Organizational and analytical skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and skills.

What you will be doing:

• Load and unload ROCKWOOL product and materials from pallets, skids, platforms, trucks, lifting devices or other transport sources, while ensuring no damage to the product, and that products are accurately labelled.
• Implement a diligent inventory management process to account for product location and distribution which often involves using physical stock counts and investigating discrepancies and adjusting errors.
• Maintain work equipment, which may require basic troubleshooting, and act as a first line of defense for process, mechanical and technical issues.
• Team player who can work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
• Ensure the correct product volumes are produced and delivered against production plan and key performance factors as part of the customer order fulfilment team.
