Graham Packaging Company in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a Machine Operator for a day shift on a 2-2-3 schedule (6:45 AM to 7:00 PM, every other weekend). Weekly pay starts at $24.20 per hour with benefits effective on day one, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) with match.

The Operator will run plastic blow molding machines and related equipment, perform minor repairs, and ensure safe, efficient, high-quality container production.

Qualifications

• Regular, predictable, and punctual attendance is required.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments within instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a group of plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment to produce containers safely and with high quality.
• Perform basic processing to improve machine efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Assist in mold, insert and color changes on the line.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and related activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Train new Operators and assist others as needed.
