Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is looking for a Night Shift Machine Operator based in Lee's Summit, MO. This role operates plastic blow molding machines and related equipment to produce containers safely, efficiently and to high quality standards, while supporting continuous improvement.

The position follows a 6:45pm–7:00am 2-2-3 schedule with weekly pay starting at $24.20 per hour, and benefits on day one including medical, dental, vision and a 401(k) with match. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing.
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including communicating with customers.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while providing good service.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments.
• Effective communicator and collaborator.

Responsibilities

• Operate plastic blow molding machines and related equipment.
• Perform mold, insert and color changes on the line.
• Troubleshoot and program the line; notify leads of major problems.
• Maintain safety, quality, GMP and company policies.
• Assist maintenance and other operators as needed.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
