Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 30 months of machining experience (external).
• Fully qualified as a Level 2 Machine Operator (internal).
• Advanced knowledge of metal or plastic cutting processes and equipment.
• Self-motivated with fast learning and strong troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machining equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform start-stop procedures including loading of raw material and machine shutdown.
• Make tooling and fixture changes and set-ups.
• Complete records and forms and document processes.
• Inspect parts visually and dimensionally to quality standards.
• Identify and report machine malfunctions or part discrepancies to supervisor.
