191 Altera Corporation is seeking a Senior M365 Messaging Engineer to design, operate, and optimize the company's email and messaging infrastructure in the San Jose area. You will ensure reliable and secure communication through Exchange Online and related M365 components for a global workforce.

Responsibilities include administering Exchange Online, mail flow, and SMTP servers, configuring mail-enabled objects, and addressing delivery issues while supporting compliance and security requirements.

Qualifications

Exchange Online administration and mail flow expertise required.
Experience with hybrid configurations and on-prem migrations.
Proficiency with M365 Admin Center and PowerShell for bulk operations.
Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Administer and optimize Exchange Online mailbox management, mail flow, and transport rules.
Configure and manage internal SMTP servers and shared mailboxes.
Troubleshoot mail delivery, NDRs, and hybrid connectivity issues.
Monitor service health and perform capacity/performance management.
Implement DLP, retention policies, and compliance holds in Exchange Online.
Manage email security including DKIM, DMARC, SPF policies.
Support email auditing, eDiscovery, and legal holds with compliance teams.
