Job summary

Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Modeling & Simulation Engineer in Huntsville to design and implement high-fidelity IAMD simulations using C++.

The role requires 5-10 years of relevant experience, system model integration, and an active Secret Clearance with the ability to pursue Top Secret clearance. The engineer will work on mission engineering programs supporting MDA, including data-driven analyses, model timing, and real-time testing in HIL/SIL environments.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of modeling & simulation experience required.
• Strong C++ programming experience in simulation development.
• Experience integrating models into larger simulation architectures and data pipelines.
• Active Secret Security Clearance required, with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, code, and test high-fidelity models and simulations of IAMD systems.
• Integrate C++ simulation models into mission engineering architectures.
• Join real-time HIL/SIL and non-real-time constructive environments.
• Manage timing, data exchange, and data collection in simulations.
• Develop automated analysis tools to process large datasets and run sensitivity analyses.
• Perform trade-space analyses of sensor-to-shooter chains and fire control closures.
• Evaluate defense architectures under varying operational scenarios.
