Job summary

Mission Driven Research, Inc. in Huntsville is seeking an accomplished Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer to lead or participate in analysis of future Missile Defense System architectures and M&S tool development to support architecture assessment.

You will analyze capability gaps and tailor simulation tools for DoD HPC workflows. The role requires an active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility, a STEM bachelor’s degree with 7+ years in related DoD programs, and strong experience

Qualifications

Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM Field with 7+ years of experience in missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project.
Solid understanding of the current MDS architecture and future concepts.
Experience in modeling, assessment, and evaluation of future missile defense architectures.
Experience with MATLAB

Responsibilities

Assess missile defense system capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities against current and future threats to develop potential architecture solutions that mitigate gaps and/or improve performance
Assist with the development of analysis plans, execute MDS simulation tools utilizing the DoD HPC systems, assess analysis results, prepare analysis briefs/reports, and provide reviews of analysis products
Support modeling & simulation (M&S) efforts related to the above to tailor tools to specific analysis plans
