Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to oversee complex M/E activities on large Industrial & Manufacturing projects. You will lead budgeting, estimating, scheduling, quality control, and commissioning for select projects and M/E teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 10+ years in construction, and the ability to develop ME estimates and bid analyses while coordinating with subcontractors and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering or related field (Required).
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 10+ years construction management experience (Preferred).
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Develops budgetary M/E estimates based on program and schematic design information.
• Reviews mechanical and electrical options and provides value engineering suggestions.
• Coordinates the mechanical and electrical scopes of work during the bid process.
• Develops sequencing requirements of various systems to meet the schedule.
• Provides mentoring to less experienced co-workers.
