Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Senior M/E Engineer to lead complex mechanical, electrical and field construction activities across select projects. You will oversee estimating, scheduling, quality control and commissioning within M/E scopes, compiling data, developing budgets, and driving bid analysis and new business opportunities.

You will mentor junior staff, participate in early design reviews, and ensure safety and quality plans are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or architectural engineering (Required).
• Proven ability to develop budgets and estimates for M/E systems.
• Experience in preconstruction review, bid analysis and subcontractor selection.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, quality and safety plans.

Responsibilities

• Complete increasingly complex M/E and field construction activities.
• Develop budgetary M/E estimates from program/design information.
• Review options, perform systems analysis and provide value engineering suggestions.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical scopes during bid and project execution.
• Lead, mentor and develop junior staff and coordinate with clients.
