Job summary

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with ability to obtain IL licensure.
• 12+ years of experience in M&A at a top firm or multinational.
• Proven ability to lead attorneys and paralegals in cross-functional teams.
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead outside counsel in acquisitions, divestitures and equity investments.
• Structure transactions, perform due diligence and negotiate agreements.
• Advise Abbott leadership and align stakeholders for risk-balanced solutions.
• Manage one or more lawyers and support staff.
