Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory or a similar field.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation experience, including discounted cash flow analysis and comparable company valuations.
• Experience reviewing financial statements and evaluating business performance.
• Understanding of the M&A process, including due diligence, transaction execution and integration.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with business owners and senior executives.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Research potential acquisition targets, industry trends and market opportunities to support the company's growth strategy.
• Analyze financial statements, historical performance, cash flow and other business metrics to evaluate prospective acquisitions.
• Build financial models and perform business valuations to support investment decisions and transaction negotiations.
• Develop relationships with business owners and executive leadership teams throughout the acquisition process.
• Coordinate due diligence activities with internal departments and external advisors, reviewing financial, operational and other relevant business information.
• Prepare financial analyses, presentations and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Manage multiple acquisition-related projects, ensuring deadlines are met and outstanding items are addressed.
• Work with internal teams following acquisitions to support the transition of new businesses and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
