Job summary

VDA is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to support the company’s M&A and strategy team. You will help manage the acquisition pipeline and work closely with senior leadership to drive buy-and-build growth across the organization.

The role requires strong financial acumen and proactive deal-sourcing capabilities. Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years of relevant experience and a solid understanding of valuation, due diligence, and integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in corporate development or similar analytical roles.
• Demonstrated understanding of the M&A process and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support all phases of the deal process from target identification to post-close integration.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Source, map, and qualify acquisition targets and maintain a deal pipeline.
• Build and maintain financial models and scenario analyses for potential acquisitions.
• Prepare investment memos and presentations for senior leadership.
• Maintain M&A pipeline, deal-tracking, and related reporting.
• Coordinate diligence with finance, legal, operations, and external advisors.
• Track performance of completed transactions and inform future decisions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
