The Senior Associate, Acquisitions & Divestments supports the team in evaluating and executing solar and storage M&A opportunities and in supporting the data center business development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3 years’ experience in business development or sales support, preferably in the energy industry.
• Understanding of energy project fundamentals, including development, business development, and financing.
• Experience creating collateral and materials for board/investment committee approvals.

Responsibilities

• Manage databases of contacts and project deal flow.
• Lead internal workflows to evaluate acquisition opportunities and provide timely responses to partners.
• Coordinate with leadership and cross-functional teams to thoroughly evaluate projects and make recommendations.
• Develop bid materials for competitive responses to M&A processes.
• Support counterparty meetings and contract negotiations.
• Lead financial modeling analysis to support bids for M&A opportunities.
• Manage internal due diligence reviews and inform contract negotiations.
• Synthesize fundamentals, diligence findings, and economics for leadership presentations.
