Job summary

CleanCapital is seeking a Senior Associate, Development to lead the development of its solar and energy storage pipeline and oversee development partnerships. This role reports to the Director, Development and supports new projects from origination through NTP.

The candidate is expected to have solar or storage development project experience and strong project management skills. The ideal candidate will work across disciplines with acquisitions, investments, capital markets, business

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in renewable energy development.
• Experience with solar energy, battery storage, and related technologies.
• Proven project management skills.
• Proven AI literacy, including understanding AI strengths, limitations, and ethical considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead full life cycle development of solar and storage projects, from early development to NTP.
• Liaise with partners on routine project and partnership needs.
• Coordinate and manage relevant project parties internally and externally.
• Initiate and manage project diligence across legal, interconnection, finance, engineering, environmental, permitting, policy, investment/revenue; and support reviews.
• Manage development schedules and budgets for timely, cost-effective completion of projects.
