ASEC in Norfolk, VA, seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the design, integration, testing, and sustainment of advanced LVC training systems for Navy and coalition readiness. You will guide cross‑functional teams across platforms, simulation, and secure networks to deliver high‑fidelity training solutions.

Required: 10+ years in DoD systems engineering, strong requirements development, and experience translating mission needs into ICDs and roadmaps. DoD Top Secret clearance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math required.
• 10+ years of systems engineering experience with DoD programs.
• Experience designing, integrating, and sustaining LVC training environments.
• Ability to translate operational requirements into technical system specifications and ICDs.
• Proven ability to lead cross-team technical integration efforts for large-scale training exercises.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for design, integration, testing, and sustainment of LVC training systems.
• Lead systems engineering across environments integrating platforms, simulation, secure networks, and mission systems.
• Support large-scale, geographically dispersed exercises with distributed data feeds and threat representations.
• Develop system architectures, interface requirements, and roadmaps for evolving capabilities.
• Oversee lifecycle requirements management and documentation.
