Job summary
ASEC is seeking a Senior Network Systems Engineer to lead a team responsible for the design, implementation, security, and sustainment of the network infrastructure supporting Navy Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training systems. The role is based in Norfolk, VA and requires strong network engineering solutions plus thorough documentation.

Qualifications
- 9 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructures.
- Experience designing, implementing, integrating, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure.
- Ability to develop and interpret network engineering drawings, rack elevations, and installation docs.
- DoD or Navy training networks experience is a plus.
- US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Develop network designs and implementation plans addressing connectivity, performance, and security.
- Prepare engineering design packages, diagrams, rack elevations, and installation drawings.
- Coordinate with facility teams and oversee installation and testing of network gear.
- Configure routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, and LAN/WAN connections per approved architectures.
- Provide technical oversight during installation and document discrepancies.
- Mentor team members and document risks; support RMF activities with ISSO/ISSE.
