Job summary

Fluidstack in Austin, TX seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to own the clean-sheet design of LV switchboards and busway platforms, drive UL 891/UL 857 listing campaigns, and lead a multi-discipline engineering team.

You will coordinate with drafting, compliance, and test staff, manage production-readiness, and work with third-party vendors to deliver consistent products across the data center fleet. This role demands hands-on design authority and a focus on manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Experience designing LV switchboards or busway through UL listings.
• Hands-on end-to-end design authority from concept to production.
• Ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams.
• Proven track record in manufacturability at volume.

Responsibilities

• Own the clean-sheet design of LV switchboards and busway platforms.
• Release platforms for production within 12 months with testing campaigns.
• Lead electrical and mechanical engineers and drafting support.
• Drive listing programs end to end: testing, documentation, certification.
• Collaborate with localization and third-party vendors for consistency.
