Job summary
EDAG Group is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Low Voltage) to lead energy management system development for automotive applications in Troy, Michigan. You will define system concepts, drive requirements, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver robust software and hardware architectures.
You will collaborate with customers and stakeholders, ensure ASPICE-compliant processes, and apply your expertise in low voltage energy management to optimize vehicle electrical systems.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional experience in automotive systems engineering.
- Experience with Low Voltage Energy Management or related vehicle electrical systems.
- Proficient in ASPICE and ISO 26262 principles.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of functions and system concepts for low voltage energy management in automotive applications.
- Drive definition and decomposition of the low voltage system with cross-functional teams to define user stories, system definitions, and functional requirements.
- Support integration, testing, and documentation of functions on target platforms.
- Develop and document requirements from feature to component levels for implementation.
- Coordinate technical activities and lead discussions with customers and internal stakeholders to align system functionality and project requirements.
