Job summary

The Newbury Boston at One Newbury Street, part of Highgate Hotels, seeks a Senior Housekeeping Manager to lead our Housekeeping team with a focus on guest comfort, safety, and efficiency. You will manage daily operations, train staff to Highgate SOPs, and ensure Forbes and brand standards are consistently met while controlling costs and maintaining superb service quality across all guest areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive hotel-related experience.
• Or a 4-year college degree with 3+ years of related experience.
• At least one year of Housekeeping management in a luxury setting.
• Three to five years of hotel supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in Windows, approved spreadsheets, and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train Housekeeping staff per SOPs.
• Maintain cleanliness standards and safety across guest areas.
• Balance payroll hours and scheduling.
• Oversee room turns, VIP rooms, and large group turns.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Engineering on issues.
• Ensure Forbes standards compliance.
