The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa is seeking an Audio Visual Manager to oversee all AV operations for events, meetings, and conferences. You will lead a team of AV technicians, coordinate with clients and internal teams, and ensure high-quality execution that aligns with the luxury standard of the property.

The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in AV systems, and the ability to manage schedules, budgets, and post-event reporting while maintaining discretion and professionalism.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in AV/communications or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily AV operations for events, meetings, and presentations.
• Coordinate AV setup and breakdown for events, ensuring timeliness and quality.
• Troubleshoot real-time technical issues during events.
• Hire, train, and supervise AV technicians and support staff.
• Create staff schedules and assign tasks based on event needs.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching.
• Collaborate with planners and clients to understand AV requirements.
• Conduct site visits and pre-event walkthroughs to assess needs.
• Provide on-site support and client-facing service during events.
• Maintain inventory of AV equipment and supplies.
• Recommend and manage procurement of new AV technologies.
• Assist in developing and managing the AV department budget.
• Track expenses, labor, and equipment usage for reporting.
