Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission seeks a seasoned LTSS Senior Policy Advisor to lead the LTSS Special Projects Team. You will report to the LTSS Special Projects Team manager and drive policy development across fee-for-service and managed care Medicaid LTSS programs.

The role requires strong project management, research, and communication skills to synthesize complex policy into clear guidance for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Experience developing or overseeing advanced deliverables, reports, or other technical writing work products.
• Experience in policy, program, or quality initiatives in Medicaid LTSS programs and services (e.g., 1915(c) waivers).

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and manages LTSS Special Projects.
• Leads research, analysis, and evaluation of policy issues related to Medicaid LTSS Special Projects.
• Leads workgroups with stakeholders as subject matter expert or team lead.
