Job summary

Genworth is seeking a Long Term Care Actuary to join the Controllership Oversight team. The role focuses on governance of LTC models, data, and controls to ensure compliance with standards. It will involve valuation, projections, and collaboration across teams.

The candidate should have a strong actuarial background (FSA/ASA) and 5+ years of related experience, preferably LTC. Remote US options are available within Eastern/Central Time zones.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in math, statistics, actuarial science, finance or related field.
• FSA or ASA designation or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of actuarial experience, LTC preferred.
• Experience with valuation, projections, and experience analyses.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Results oriented with ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Review existing controls for high‑risk processes and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on data issues and controls.
• Provide governance peer review support for LTC actuarial models and processes.
