AFL Telecommunications, LLC is seeking a Low Voltage Technician III to lead and execute the installation, testing, commissioning, and documentation of structured cabling and telecom systems. The role requires 3+ years of experience in telecom and low-voltage infrastructure, copper termination skills, and the ability to travel up to 85% nationwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience installing telecommunications and low-voltage infrastructure.
• Proficient with termination of copper to quality standards.
• Ability to read scopes of work, drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Willingness to travel up to 85% nationwide and work on site with customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, termination, labeling, and testing of copper cabling.
• Perform copper certification; download, analyze, archive, and deliver test results and as-built documentation.
• Plan material usage, storage, and inventory to support project timelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional jobsite per EHS policies.
• Provide regular project status updates to the Project Manager and escalate risks.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and internal crews to meet scope, schedule, and quality.
• Act as the primary on-site customer point of contact for installation activities and changes.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
• Obtain customer project acceptance upon completion.
