Job summary

Amtex Enterprises Inc. is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician / Communication Wireworker in Amarillo, TX.

The role focuses on installing, maintaining, testing, and certifying electrical and communication infrastructure, including copper and fiber cabling, in substations, data centers, and office facilities. The candidate will have 5+ years of related experience and hold a Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent verified electrical experience.
• Minimum 5 years in electrical construction or telecom cabling.
• Ability to read electrical/telecom drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems for communications networks.
• Install, terminate, test, certify, and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling.
• Support field construction across substations, data centers, and offices.
• Perform testing, document as-built drawings, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Maintain safety practices and obtain required certifications.
