Job summary

York Solutions is seeking an experienced Communication Wireworker in Texas to install, test, and certify electrical and communications infrastructure across substations, data centers, and facilities. The role combines electrical and telecom expertise to ensure safe, compliant installations.

Applicants should hold a Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent experience), maintain BICSI certification, and have strong knowledge of copper/fiber systems, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical school, apprenticeship, or vocational training required.
• Journeyman Electrician License (where required by state or local jurisdiction).
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems for communications networks.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, riser diagrams, and construction drawings.
• Install conduit, cable tray, grounding, raceways, and related infrastructure.
• Ensure NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E, and local codes compliance.
• Perform certification testing and maintain as-built drawings and inventories.
• Support WAN/LAN/SCADA deployments and coordinate with engineers and PMs.
