Job summary

Amteck is seeking a Low Voltage Technician for our Myrtle Beach, SC office. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing low voltage systems in commercial and industrial settings, including cable and fiber installation, terminations, and pathway work.

You will read schematics and drawings, work with other trades, and demonstrate safe, efficient workmanship while meeting project standards and timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction is a plus.
• Experience with low voltage systems is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read a measuring tape.
• Provide personal hand tools within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair low voltage devices and cabling in commercial/industrial buildings.
• Pull cable and fiber, learn color codes, and terminate cables.
• Read schematics, drawings, and wire maps relevant to installations.
• Work with other trades in a safe, professional manner.
• Ensure tasks meet contractual documents and applicable codes.
