Job summary

Global Technical Talent seeks an Industrial Engineering Technician in Amarillo, TX for a 12-month contract. You will install, test, and maintain electrical and communications infrastructure across substations, service centers, and data centers, with a focus on safety and compliance.

Required qualifications include a Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent), BICSI Technician Certification, and 5+ years in related fields.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent verifiable experience.
• BICSI Technician certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical construction and/or telecommunications experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems for communications and network infrastructure.
• Install and certify copper and fiber cabling; perform fiber splicing and OTDR testing.
• Document as-built drawings, test results, and inventories to company standards.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E and local codes; uphold safety practices.
• Support field construction across substations, data centers, and service centers.
