Job summary

Military, Veterans and Diverse Job Seekers is seeking a Sr. Store Protection Specialist to mitigate theft, maintain a safe environment, and minimize shortages. You will partner with ALPM/RISC, monitor behavior, interact with customers, and coordinate with law enforcement for external theft cases.

Responsibilities include reporting incidents, guiding store leadership, and leading security initiatives while building strong partnerships with local authorities and associates.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required, AA degree preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast paced environment.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners including law enforcement.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Build and maintain working relationships with associates at all levels.
• Problem solving with urgency.
• Compliance with security laws and background screening where required.
• Experience in Loss prevention, security, or retail preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mitigating Theft & Fraud by monitoring store and corporate reporting.
• Identify theft indicators and interact with customers showing loss intent.
• Coordinate with law enforcement for external theft incidents.
• Maintain safe and secure environment and respond to incidents with local law enforcement.
• Alert management to safety hazards and risks observed.
• Identify operational gaps driving external theft and address them.
