Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of fraud research and security experience in a retail store setting with a national brand
• Knowledge of local laws on theft, shoplifting, and apprehension
• Ability to apply analytical and critical thinking, solve problems independently and as a team
• Demonstrated ability to convey knowledge to others through in-person and virtual sessions
• Broad knowledge of business operations, computer environment and applications
• Experience with PC applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
• Self-directed with ability to deliver results independently and as a team
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills; ability to build rapport with various stakeholders
• Ability to initiate better work methods and procedures

Responsibilities

• Develops and compiles documentation for investigations into risk or loss
• Coordinates law enforcement activity and prepares case files for prosecutors
• Represents in court when requested by HQ Asset Protection or Legal
• Monitors and assesses physical security of stores and coordinates with HQ on issues
• Administers Asset Protection training for home stores to build capacity
• Supports market stores with Asset Protection services as directed
• Adheres to HQ Asset Protection policies and ensures implementation
• Collaborates with HQ Asset Protection and store managers to deepen understanding of Asset Protection
• Participates in periodic training and updates from HQ Asset Protection
• Provides evaluations of store Asset Protection strengths and opportunities
• Provides consistent reporting to HQ Asset Protection on opportunities for enhancement
