AutoZone seeks a Senior Loss Prevention Analyst to turn complex data into business insights. You will develop reporting, dashboards, and analytics using GCP, BigQuery, and Looker to support risk reduction and strategic decisions across the organization.

This role requires SQL and Python excellence, strong business acumen, and the ability to translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations that drive operational improvements and data-driven outcomes for AutoZone teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of analytics, business analysis, financial analysis, operations analysis, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery.
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, and analytics with Looker.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with data quality, reporting, or process issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting, dashboards, and analytical solutions that support Loss Prevention and enterprise business objectives.
• Create scalable reporting and data models using GCP, BigQuery, and Looker.
• Deliver accurate, timely insights that enable informed decision-making.
• Analyze operational, financial, inventory, and loss prevention data to identify trends, risks, anomalies, and opportunities.
• Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations that improve business outcomes.
• Support proactive risk detection and mitigation efforts across the enterprise.
• Write, optimize, troubleshoot, and maintain SQL and Python-based analytical solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate needs into solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement in data integrity, reporting accuracy, and operational performance.
