Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services seeks a Loss Control Consultant to design, develop and implement comprehensive technical risk assessment services and loss control training for clients and prospects. You will support an Account Management Team on regional and national levels, focusing on practice programs, Subguard and Wrap-Up initiatives.

Field visits with carrier reps, and advisory work on OSHA, NFPA and other safety regulations are key aspects of this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Eight or more years of related work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of the construction industry.
• OSHA 500 Authorized Trainer.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP).

Responsibilities

• Generates risk engineering and loss control solutions to a wide range of customers.
• Identifies and analyzes critical issues and implements solutions using a holistic risk management approach.
• Designs and drafts loss control and site safety plans for large construction projects.
• Designs and implements Comprehensive Technical Risk Assessment Services and training programs.
• Assists in marketing, coordination and delivery of risk control services to clients and prospects.
• Conducts field visits with Carrier Reps for clients and prospects.
• Advises on Federal & State Safety regulations including OSHA, NFPA, JCAHO, enforcement, data and training.
• Uses knowledge of coverage, claims and safety to advise management on risk control plans.
• Coordinates cross-functional relationships with Account Executives, Producers, Claims Managers, Wrap Up Teams and carriers.
• Maintains data integrity in agency management systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
