Job summary

Acadia Insurance, part of a regional loss-control network, seeks an experienced Loss Control professional to identify hazards and control measures for large, complex commercial accounts. You will conduct site surveys, provide technical loss-control guidance, and support underwriting with risk improvement plans.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in commercial loss control, possess advanced industry designations, and can travel regularly to client sites while mentoring team members and ensuring

Qualifications

• 7+ years in advanced commercial insurance loss control or safety consulting.
• Experience evaluating large, complex commercial accounts.
• Knowledge of property valuation methods, fire protection, regulatory compliance, and emerging risk exposures.

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards and controls for large and complex accounts.
• Conduct surveys and services on sites to evaluate risks across all lines.
• Provide loss control services and risk improvement recommendations.
• Mentor/train others and participate in staff meetings as needed.
• Travel regularly to insured locations to conduct inspections (up to 25 pounds of equipment).
