Job summary

Acadia Insurance in Bedford, NH seeks a Loss Control Consultant to survey accounts, identify hazards, and develop client service plans across multiple lines of coverage. You will partner with underwriters, claims, and other teams to deliver practical, cost-effective loss-control solutions.

The role requires 5–7 years in loss control or related fields, a bachelor's in safety or risk management, and ability to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in loss control, risk control, safety management, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Risk Management, Insurance or related field preferred.
• Experience with multi-line commercial insurance accounts preferred.
• Strong knowledge of property, casualty, and workers’ compensation exposures and controls.
• Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA, and ANSI standards.
• Ability to conduct hazard identification and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Conducts surveys and services accounts by identifying hazards and controls for all lines of coverage.
• Develops client-related service plans based on needs analysis and assists with problem resolution.
• Services existing accounts according to mutually agreed plans.
• Participates in client training and education.
• Submits recommendations to improve conditions to mitigate hazards.
