Job summary

DSV is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day site operations, including warehousing, receiving, and shipping, with a focus on safety, cost efficiency, and KPI achievement. You will plan inbound/outbound volumes, manage space and equipment, and supervise hiring, training, and performance reviews.

The role requires strong leadership, adherence to SOPs, and effective communication with clients and senior management.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 7 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement systems and procedures for managing operations, equipment, and products in a safe and profitable manner.
• Manage operations to meet prescribed productivity and service goals. Comply with client SLAs.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts and identify cost savings opportunities.
• Lead hiring, training, and performance evaluation processes for the operations team.
• Coordinate with HR and client representatives to ensure alignment on staffing and performance.
