Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in New Mexico seeks a Cleared Senior/Principal Facilities Technologist for Hazardous Transportation and Storage onsite. You will collaborate with the Storage team to manage hazardous materials, move work orders through Sandia systems, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to keep shipments compliant and on schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience with Move-it tickets software or related IT ticketing systems.
• Nuclear Criticality Safety training is required.
• Active DOE Q-level security clearance or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support logistics activities and collaborate with logistics professionals.
• Enter work order information, documentation, and close-out data into systems.
• Coordinate scheduling with facilities teams for logistics and services.
• Develop and improve work processes to ensure shipments are executed successfully.
• Oversee multiple customers and staff through project execution.
• Observe storage activities and verify against work orders.
• Contribute to solutions and communicate issues proactively to management.
