Career Opportunities seeks a Senior Logistics Readiness SAV Inspection Technical Instructor to serve as a senior cross-functional field support SME for Staff Assistance Visits and Government-led inspection support onsite readiness coaching. The role trains personnel, helps commanders identify logistics weaknesses, and supports inspection teams without acting as the inspecting authority.

Qualifications

• At least three years of directly relevant Army logistics readiness experience.
• Five or more years of broad cross functional experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience across multiple Army logistics functional areas.
• Experience conducting or supporting staff assistance readiness assessment or inspection activities.
• Ability to diagnose systemic logistics issues and coach leaders.
• Strong briefing, technical writing and reporting skills.
• Ability to teach adult learners with field-based coaching.
• Proficiency with MS Office for reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead or augment Battalion level Staff Assistance Visit teams.
• Provide cross functional logistics assistance to commanders, leaders and unit personnel.
• Support Division G4 Command Inspection activities.
• Assist Government inspectors with CIP, CSDP, CMDP, IG and other inspection activities.
• Provide technical support across multiple logistics areas (maintenance, supply, property accountability, GCSS Army, records, unit movement, arms rooms, driver training).
• Identify trends, weaknesses, and readiness issues; recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare inspection support briefings, point papers, reports, trend products and briefing slides.
• Provide onsite individual section or unit level technical assistance.
• Backfill or support classroom instructors during overlapping requirements when qualified.
• Provide surge support during exercises, deployments, readiness events, or high demand periods.
• Maintain distinction between SAVs and inspections; contractors assist inspectors.
